It's been years and years since I preordered a book, got it, & received such a hard anticipation payoff. MONSTER is laying its own route through the reward center of my brain. I already don't want it to end.
Totally worth the wait. Just reading that tour schedule depletes my will to live though
PS Bar Toti. Solid choice. You should be drunk, for lots of reasons. Did you continue to crawl down Manor? Check out Techo and Long Goodbye sometime, if you haven’t already. And Butterfly Bar is necessary. But maybe not after Toti lol. Also sad to miss the First Light event, but I had to get to Amarillo, as one does when your parents are a certain age. Cheers, congrats, and can’t wait to crack open the book!
Congrats on the book and the review! Hippocampus Magazine is a gem, full of smart people that truly love good writing. Keep em coming- I can't wait to read it!
I had a surprise at the mailbox yesterday. Turns out I pre-ordered two signed books! YaY me. I am giving one to my son and his girlfriend. They will love it too.
Tip for your Cambridge event: you'll be very close to the Shine Square Pub if you want a drink from one of my favorite bartenders (Dave). http://shinesquarepub.com/

As a long time follower the comments on the wonderful Woody remind me of your, also wonderful, Teddy. Looking forward to having time to devote to my audiobook.
This note and the delivery of my pre-ordered audiobook dropped within minutes of each other this morning. I’m a happy camper. Thanks for what you do from a fellow former Amarillo kid.
The review wasn’t just high praise—it, too, was a creative response to Lauren’s work. Wordsmith to wordsmith.
Can't wait to get my pre-order in the mail...and am crossing all digits that your publisher can add west coast dates.
Diesel. Santa Monica. 27th August I think.
My pre-order arrived yesterday. Congrats, Lauren! Hope your book tour is a fun one.
What a beautiful review!!! ❤️ I can’t wait to receive my pre-ordered copy and happily read and read. Congratulations, Lauren!!
We received MOAL yesterday. Wife reading it now. My turn soon (-ish). 😃
Fabulous! Congratulations. And what a review!
the book is so good that i'm stopping myself every few chapters so it's not gone too soon and that review is a real keeper.
Our signed copy arrived in the mail today! Thank you, Lauren!
