I learned a lot about people during the Iraq War and the run up to it. We all did I suppose. I learned how many believe what they’re told without question. I learned how many will stay silent, whether or not speaking costs anything at all. I learned how many will follow orders and go along. How many will pretend to not see, if seeing is uncomfortable.
