Some thoughts, or something like them:

If you were taking bets on how long it would take someone to mention that it might be fun to do a book tour in a van, you either won or lost, because it happened last week. And I very much enjoyed telling them “oh shit. Yeah. So I couldn’t keep lighting money on fire and so I sold it.”
